We stock a range of PALMETTO (USA) Packings for stern tubes , stern glands and rudder posts glands. These packings are also suitable for many other shaft sealing applications. eg..water pumps .

We have 3 main types of fibre packings .These are the trational Flax with Tallow lubrication , TFE Impregnated fibre and the Premium quality GFO® Fibre type.

Your boats gland packing should be regularly changed as part of a good maintenance programme . The number 1 cause of premature shaft wear and problem leaking is packing which is passed its use by date !!.

These are available from us in handy length packs from 450 mm to 1000mm . Simply select the desired length when adding to shopping cart.
